Congress government took record loan in 18 months: Nanda

BJP state media in-charge Karna Nanda campaigned in favour of candidate Ashish Sharma in booth number 23 in Hamirpur assembly constituency. All the booth presidents, guardians, BLA and workers of BJP campaigned door to door.

On this occasion, BJP media in-charge Karna Nanda said that the small hill state of Himachal Pradesh is badly trapped in the debt trap. No one else but the Chief Minister and his friends are responsible for this. The Chief Minister is spending all the money in Himachal Pradesh to provide facilities to his friends and not even Rs 1 is being allocated for development work.

The debt trap that CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India) was pointing towards for the last 18 months has now become a reality. Himachal has a debt of more than 85 thousand crores, CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu himself has accepted that the state government has to take loans to repay the debt. The debt figure will cross one lakh crore rupees even before the next financial year.

Nanda said that Himachal Pradesh is in a precarious position on the economic front, but the Chief Minister is taking loan after loan, loan for tourist supplies, loan to meet his own expenses and in 18 months this government has taken a record loan. Sukhu government is of friends, for friends, by friends.
