Congress government is only celebrating its stay in power
BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the present Congress government is only trying to remain in power and is celebrating its stay in power. The people of the state who made the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government of the Congress party with great enthusiasm, great hopes, great aspirations and expectations, are continuously facing misery and the money of those people is being misused.
Dr Bindal said that in the month of November 2022, the leaders of the Congress party came to Himachal from every corner of the country, held big press conferences, rallies and gave guarantees worth lakhs and crores to the unemployed, women, youth, farmers, poor and patients of the state. Congress leaders went from street to street announcing that one lakh government jobs would be created in the first cabinet and 5 lakh jobs would be created, every consumer would get 300 units of free electricity, every sister, whether she is 18 years old or 60 years old, would get Rs 1500 per month. They kept giving guarantees of the world to farmers, gardeners, unemployed and youth and came to power. After 2 years, the Chief Minister and his ministers are now preaching to the people of the state that to improve the financial condition of the state, stop electricity subsidy, make electricity expensive, impose tax on diesel, impose tax on cement, close schools and colleges.
Dr Bindal said that the knowledge that Congress leaders have got after coming to power, the basis of knowledge for coming to power was the opposite, it was different from this. Education Minister of Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Government is closing schools one after the other and even after closing them, he is doing a favour to the people of the state by saying that we have closed the schools. Health Minister is taking credit for closing health institutions and the Industry Minister has completely shared the knowledge that guarantees should be given only after careful consideration. The government is also taking credit for closing the health facilities Himcare and Ayushman Yojana available in the health sector, that is, “If the people of the state are unhappy, then Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Government is happy”.
Dr Bindal said that now there is a competition as to which government department will close the number of its institutions/offices and he will be called a bigger minister/leader.
There is also a race to take credit for the schemes and development works being done by the Narendra Modi government at the centre. The state government is busy misleading the public by crediting the works like Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, four-lane national highway, tunnels, flyovers to its account. Now, in the official advertisements of the state government, the achievements of the state government are being counted by using the photos of four-lane highways and flyovers, “The fame of the company is of the property owners”.
Dr Bindal said that you can take credit for the schemes of the Centre but do not say bad things about the Central Government and Narendra Modi because of whom the development work of the government is going on today. The people of Himachal are troubled by the indifference of the present State Government.
