Congress G -23 is media creation : Anand Sharma

Former Commerce & Industry Minister Anand Sharma today defended him being the active member of G-23 in the party being sidelines in the Congress stating that he was one of signatory who send letter to AICC chief however the group 23 is media creation and within the party one could raise such matter which they had. Addressing media persons here today CWC member said that bitterness prevailed and G23 is mere media creation as most of the signatories were CWC leaders and list could be prolonged the size of draft page allow to put more sign on it. He said that Congress party is democratic organization and party members could raise such matter within party platform which they have done and nothing could be termed indiscipline. He said that though the matter is still in party platform and he could divulged too much in the issue which was thoroughly replied by me. Mr. Sharma said in reply of a queries if party is going with leadership face in coming Assembly Election in Himachal he said that he is known as Sharma but not astrologers. He also evade query about the performance of Jai Ram Thakur Government and Narendra Modi government in center stating that media must know what is going in the state and centre it is not right to condemned someone without any reason. He said that Congress and BJP went with party menifesto in previous Vidhan Sabha Election since BJP is power one could go through the promise met by the ruling party. He said that Congress is stronger in the some region of country and could give befeating reply to BJP which is no doubt to much powerfull but Congress performed poorly is some regions should concentrate in its shortcomings to give strong opposition alternative. He said party leaders who have strong image, remained within organisations and party and people and who are consensus candidate of organization should be given tickets. He said that son of Former Union Minister Anil Sharma may join party as his fathers remained in the Congress for decades have rare skills to be always with the  power. Mr Sharma said that party is ready to face Assembly Election but it must have strengthen organization Structure to face such Poltical challenge. Mr Sharma said that he plunged in students politics at the time of Dr Y S Parmar as chief minister of Himachal Pradesh and fought Assembly Election in 1982 but lost mere margin of 1000 votes under a conspiracy by the Jansang however he succeeded to unseat his Poltical rival Dault Ram Chauhan of Jansang from a well quoted Election petition in the matter Anand Sharma versus state. I couldn’t spare time to join electrol Politics as Shimla Parliamentary was always reserved and he was deployed by Former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi to be work with Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi. I remained members of Rajayasabha three times from Himachal Pradesh and once from RS and served on various capacities  in UPA government and Deputy leaders of Rajayasabha. He said that he never skipped electrol Politics but his Poltical carrier revolved in national politics which is continue doing with full passion and strength.
