Congress discriminated against Kangra, BJP and central government supported: Jairam

Senior BJP leader and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that while the Congress party government discriminates against a big district like Kangra, the BJP and the central government look at Kangra district from a special point of view.

He said that it is a matter of pride for us that the G-20 meeting is going to be held in Dharamshala, Kangra and this meeting has been fixed in the month of April. India is presiding over the G-20 this time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and this decision was taken on 1 December 2022. Not only this, Dharamshala is also going to get the chance to host the fourth ASEAN India Youth Summit.

He said that the Central Government has always done positive work for Himachal. Today, 98 crores have been sanctioned to Himachal Pradesh under Smart City, out of which 49-49 crores have been given by the Center to Shimla and Dharamshala. With this, the work of road widening, overbridge, lift, retaining wall and beautification will go ahead in Dharamshala and Shimla.

Even before this, the central government has approved more than Rs 250 crore to Himachal Pradesh under Smart City, under which unprecedented development has taken place in Dharamshala and Himachal Pradesh under the Smart City scheme.

The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Legislature Party wholeheartedly thank the Central Government for this gift.

BJP State President Suresh Kashyap has constituted a committee for coordination regarding the G-20 conference today and this committee has been formed regarding the G-20 summit to be held in Kangra parliamentary constituency. The head of this special committee will be former Assembly Speaker Vipin Parmar, along with MP Kishan Kapoor, MP Indu Goswami, BJP State General Secretary Trilok Kapoor, Working Committee member Rajeev Bhardwaj, State Secretary Virendra Chaudhary, Vishal Chauhan, Media Incharge Rakesh Sharma, District President Chandra Bhushan Nag , Dharamshala Mayor Onkar Nehriya and Zilla Parishad President Ramesh Brar will serve as members.

BJP State President Suresh Kashyap said that it is a matter of pride for Himachal Pradesh that the meeting of the G20 Committee is going to be held in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the identity of the country is getting stronger at the international level.
