Cong claims victory in HPU EC & University court election

In a set back to the ruling BJP government, local MLA and Urban Development minister Suresh Bhardwaj Congress-CPI(M) party supported candidates who won Himachal Pradesh University Executive Council and court election held here today.
In a press statement issued by Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Kuldeep Singh Rathore has greetedthe elected candidates Raj Kumari and Nand Lal claiming the victory of  Congress affiliated candidates in theelection.
Congress- and Left have joined hand in the HPU as their candidate also won in Teaching and non-teaching employees organization election in the recent past. He complimented the all HPU  staff and students for ensuring second continue victory for Congress affiliated candidates.
On August 12 Congress and left supported candidates joined hand in the HPU employee, teaching staff and other electionsand got victory on the all the seven posts defeating the BJP affiliated candidates after many years.
Mr Rahtore said that Congress is standing with the university employees and students to support their cause and would not allowed any injustice with them.
