Cong chief heard my concern over challenges before party: Sharma

Former Union Minister and Congress Working President Anand Sharma said here today that  he had apprised AICC chief  Sonia Gandhi about challenges before party and she gave patient hearing on his concern. Mr Sharma who offered resignation from party state stearing Committee stated that he gave assurance to AICC chief that he is ready to render his Services to party leaders who are hardworking and dedicated to party ideology to fight forth coming Assembly Election however he offered resignation from the party stearing Committee expressing reservation over the party internal matter which he stated is between AICC chief and him. He said that he is party CWC members and with Congress party for 52 years. He said that he belonged to party old school which may not be comfortable with the party affairs which he could raised with AICC Chief whom Mr Sharma said have high regard. Mr Sharma who seemed to be little perturbed said that things some time pinch  and since party is bound to address the challenges posing the grand old party must overcome it by means of internal deliberation. He said that their is excitement among party youth leadership who gave him warm welcome after his return to home state after long time. He said that he had blessed BJP chief J P Nadda and continue do so as both of them hails from same state. He greeted Mr Nadda to represent the ruling party in the country despite he belonged to small state of Himachal Pradesh which have little significance in national politics. Responding to a query about his bonehomie with Nadda he said that he did as both of them study in same University and are good friends. Responding to friction and serious abrasions among his party over visit to Mr Nadda’s residence He however said that bitterness prevail today power corridor as things are not in good taste. He said that Poltical leaders like Arun Jaitley and Sushama Swaraj being opposition leader and latter as union minister were cordial relations to him and other leaders of Congress party but unfortunately things are not foldings so good now and no one trust others in the present Poltical milieu. He said that BJP failed to deliver in the centres as youths and commonmen are disillusioned by its governance and Congress party could give the future leadership again but it couldn’t ignore challenges before to get it strengthens again. He said that democratic partys leaders are free to take up such matter with party leadership which is needed for its growth. Mr Sharma who is not happy with the state party leadership recently submitted his resignation from the party stearing Committee showing serious reservations with the things are foldings in the state units however Mr Sharma avoid today to comment the state leaderships and its working for upcoming Assembly Election. Mr Sharma said that Himachal is his home being born here is close to his heart and he would serve on any capacity which party leadership would expect from him however he said that he showed serious reservations over quiting party state panel. In the resignation letter submitted  to AICC chief recently Mr Sharma have been expressed deep aungish and created ripples in the state Poltical circles, questioning the workings of party state leaderships and party central in-charge and observers. Now his visit to state are being given keen observation as he was being considered as party group 23 AICC leaders who are for holding party president polls.
