CoMs clear OPS to 1.30 lakh NPS Employees in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh today become the fifth state in the country which have opted for Old Pension Scheme for its Employees . In historical Çabinet meeting held at Shimla under the chairmanship of Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu moved the agenda to restore OPS to as many ad 1.30 Employees and around 23000 New pensioner holder as council of ministers approved the agenda. Only West Bengal government is given OPS to its Employees and after Congress rulled Chattisgarh, Rajasthan and AAP ruled Punjab restored this pension and Himachal Pradesh become fifth state which is provided OPS to its Employees as 1.30 lakh Employees who were joined state service after 2005 are covered under NPS Scheme. Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that Goverment has committed for the decision. Now Employees are going to held a mega victory rally of OPS at Mandi in which one lakh state Employees would welcome Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.Mr Sukhu also addressed a press conference at Peterhoff on the issue .
