Common people suffering during Congress rule: Kashyap

Former BJP state president and MP Suresh Kashyap visited Kasumpti assembly constituency. During this, he also announced to provide MP fund of Rs 21 lakh to various Panchayats.

Kashyap said that as BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda had said that all the MPs will use their MP funds for disaster relief and we have distributed this fund for these purposes.

He said that ever since the Congress government came to power in Himachal Pradesh, the people are troubled and distressed. Employees are on the streets throughout Himachal Pradesh and the strike of Zilla Parishad employees, whose strength is 4700, is going on continuously. Now even the employees of the District Magistrate’s office are getting worried. It has become very difficult to work in Himachal.

He said that Himachal is continuously going backwards from the tourism point of view.

After Gujarat and Kolkata, Punjab and Chandigarh taxi unions have also boycotted Himachal Pradesh. Punjab and Chandigarh Taxi Union has warned that if the Himachal Pradesh government does not withdraw the additional tax, then from October 15, they will seal all the borders with Himachal Pradesh and taxi-maxis will not be allowed to ply.
