CM Sukhu visits Gurudwara Sahib on Guru Arjun Dev’s Shahidi Diwas

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today visited Gurudwara Sahib Shri Guru Singh Sabha at Cart Road Shimla to pay his obeisance on the occasion of Shahidi Diwas of the fifth Sikh Guru Guru Arjun Dev.    

He emphasized embracing the teachings of Guru Arjun Dev and following his principles of truth, compassion, and love for people, besides staunch belief in God and hard work.

Shri Sukhu said that God is subtle and can be attained by Guru’s words in hymns of Guruvani where all doubts are dispelled. He urged to follow the path shown by Guru Arjun Dev for self-realization and service to mankind.

In recognition of his visit, the Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee honored the Chief Minister with a siropa (robe of honor) and a sword.

MLAs Harish Janartha and Suresh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap, and other senior officers were also present during the ceremony.
