CM Sukhu sought public support for Congress candidate Vinod Sultanpuri in Panjera, Nalagarh
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the independent MLAs of Nalagarh have been sold. He is the first independent MLA who is protesting outside the Assembly to get his resignation accepted. Went to the High Court to get his resignation accepted, but faced defeat there too. The new name of Nalagarh MLA is KL Bike. He liked not the respect given by me but the stuff given in the briefcase by BJP. The sellable former MLA had elected Azad, what were he afraid of? He has been sold in the political market of BJP, hence did not come home for a month. He is also involved in the conspiracy hatched by BJP to topple the government. He has played with the sentiments of the people of Nalagarh.
The Chief Minister said these things in the public meeting organized for the election campaign of Lok Sabha candidate Vinod Sultanpuri in Panjera of Nalagarh assembly constituency and Baddi of Doon assembly constituency. The Chief Minister said that no stone was left unturned in the development of Nalagarh assembly constituency. But, KL wanted private development, not public development. BJP is so hungry for power that it bought only six Congress MLAs. This is also a fear of the public welfare work done during the 14 months of the Congress government. BJP is afraid of facing the public court. We have come to the public court to give account of our actions, there is neither any fear nor danger for us and our government. Former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur has been predicting that two governments will be formed on June 4, but the ground will slip from under his feet when neither the six sold former MLAs nor the four Lok Sabha candidates win. The public will teach a lesson to the BJP which buys votes with notes.
He said that this politics of horse trading and corruption has to be ended. Our government has collected additional revenue of Rs 2200 crore in a year by closing the doors of corruption. We fielded two MLAs in the Lok Sabha elections so that the BJP understands that the Congress government is strong with full majority, since Jairam Thakur’s mathematics is very weak.
Shimla parliamentary constituency MP Suresh Kashyap was elected by public vote, but after winning he forgot the people. Not knowing the suffering of the people in the disaster, he does not have the courage to go to the Prime Minister to get a special relief package for the state, he could not even muster the courage to write a letter. He has no right to be an MP. He did not ask any question related to the people in the Parliament, hence elect Congress candidate Vinod Sultanpuri and send him to the Parliament. Vinod has the ability to solve people’s problems. The Chief Minister said that those keeping destitute cows at home will be given Rs 1200 per cow. People should not leave helpless animals from their homes and should come forward to protect the cows roaming on the streets.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, while addressing the public meeting in Baddi, said that the present election is not about the lead, government or chair, but about deciding the future condition and direction of democracy. It is about the identity and self-respect of Himachal, since BJP has murdered democracy in the Rajya Sabha elections. I never compromised on principles in politics.
He said that by changing the process of auctioning liquor contracts, the government got additional revenue of Rs 500 crore. The BJP government caused loss to the treasury by not auctioning liquor contracts for five consecutive terms. After getting OPS, children are bringing the elderly back home from the old age home. Earlier he used to get a pension of Rs 2700, now he is getting Rs 27000. This is system change. When the Central Government gave special relief package in the Bhuj and Uttarakhand tragedies, then why not Himachal. Suresh Kashyap could not provide relief to Himachal during the disaster while being BJP state president and MP, he cannot be a true public servant. He said that our government stands with every needy person. Diet money of policemen increased from Rs 210 to Rs 1000. The power of the public is with us, that is why we are keeping the account in the public court even today and will do so even after 5 years. The biggest power in democracy is manpower, not money power. What will happen to the public if the sellable MLAs are not from Congress? Himachal will become self-reliant by 2027 and the most prosperous state of the country by 2032.During this, Health Minister Colonel Dhaniram Shandil, CPS Chaudhary Ram Kumar, Lok Sabha candidate Vinod Sultanpuri, former candidate Baba Hardeep, District President Shiv Kumar, Block President Nalagarh Hussan Thakur, Doon Block Congress President Kultar Thakur, former Baddi Municipal Council President Chaudhary Madan Lal, Jogindra Bank Chairman Mukesh Sharma, Nalagarh Municipality President Alka Verma, former District President Rahul Thakur, Nalagarh area in-charge Pratap Singh Thakur, Panjera Panchayat Pradhan Rajendra Kumar and CPI Himachal Assistant Secretary Naresh Ghai etc. were present.
