CM Sukhu shifted to AIIMS from IGMC

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has been shifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi this morning from India Gandhi Medical College Hospital.

Spokesperson of the Government confirmed that the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister left for Delhi for some routine checkups.

As has been stated earlier Mr Sukhu was hospitalized on Thursday morning after stomach pain and he was admitted to the Gastrilogy unit of IGMC&H here yesterday.

According to the medical officials, Mr Sukhu was shifted from IGMC to his residence Oak Over at 0830 hrs.

He was rushed to AIIMS from Annandale ground in a Helicopter.

Mr Sukhu complained of stomach pain on Wednesday midnight and he was rushed to IGMC around 0100 hrs on Thursday.

According to the medical bulletin issued by the IGMC yesterday said that Mr Sukhu is out of danger but he is under medical supervision at IGMC.

According to the medical bulletin he was rushed to hospital after a sudden illness in Himachal Pradesh. His examination was completed at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital and tests like ultrasound etc. were also done. 

“In the investigation of the  Chief Minister, stomach-related infection has been found. And his condition remains normal.” Sr MS said adding that he was going further thorough investigation and kept under the observation of doctors in the hospital as per the guidelines of the experts.

 A six-member senior doctor panel of Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital administration is continuously keeping watch on his ailment.
