CM Sukhu mourns demise of Dr. MS Swaminathan

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Dr. MS Swaminathan, an eminent agricultural scientist, who is widely known as the Father of India’s Green Revolution. 

He died at the age of 98 on Thursday at his residence in Chennai.

The Chief Minister in his condolence message said that Dr. Swaminathan was a renowned scientist and pioneer of India’s green revolution and always wanted to see the nation to progress.

 The Chief Minister prayed for peace of departed soul and strength to the family members.
