CM Sukhu graces the grand finale of International Kullu Dussehra 2024

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu attended the final cultural night of the International Kullu Dussehra 2024 as the chief guest on Friday evening, extending his heartfelt wishes for the festival. He highlighted that since last year, the Kullu Dussehra fair has truly embraced an international appeal. The Chief Minister also noted the success of the Ambassador Meet held during the fair, commending Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sunder Singh Thakur and MLA Bhuvneshwar Gaur for their contributions.

The evening featured a star performance by playback singer Neeraj Shridhar, while artists from Uzbekistan captivated the audience with their mesmerizing acts. A cultural fusion performance also drew widespread appreciation from the crowd.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated the traditional Kullu folk dance ‘Lalri’ by offering prayers and actively participating in the dance. He also visited developmental exhibitions at Dhalpur Ground.

Sh. Sukhu emphasized that Himachal Pradesh, known as the land of gods and goddesses, has a rich cultural heritage that both the government and the people must work together to preserve. He highlighted the significance of the ‘Lalri’ dance, a vibrant cultural tradition where families come together to celebrate.

Several dignitaries, including Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sunder Singh Thakur, MLA Bhuvneshwar Gaur, and other prominent leaders and officials, were present at the event.
