CM Sukhu expresses grief over loss of lives in car accident
A quiet Saturday morning in Kinnaur turned tragic when a car carrying five passengers veered off the road near Jani village in Nichar sub-division and fell into a deep gorge. The accident, which occurred around 9 am, claimed the lives of four people instantly, while one survivor was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar confirmed that the victims — Krishna (42), Sushma (47), Himesh Kumar (19), and Inder Lal (30) — were identified soon after the rescue operation. Local residents, along with the police team, worked together to recover the bodies and save the injured passenger.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep sorrow over the car accident at Jani link road near Bhavanagar of District Kinnaur today in which four persons have lost their lives and one is injured.
He directed District Administration to provide all possible assistance to the next of kin of the deceased and best treatment to the injured person.
Chief Minister has prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. He also prayed for early recovery of the injured.
