More than two hundred industrial workers including CITU National Secretary KN Umesh, Secretary Kashmir Singh Thakur, State President Vijendra Mehra, General Secretary Prem Gautam, Omdutt Sharma, Daljit Singh, Mohit Verma, Rakesh Thakur participated in the convention. It was decided in the convention that there would be a massive protest of thousands of workers in Shimla on 27th November to press for the demands of the industrial workers.

CITU National Secretaries KN Umesh and Kashmir Singh Thakur said that this Mahapadav will be held to declare the minimum wage of workers at Rs 26 thousand, cancel the four anti-labor labor codes, outsource, Neem, Sita, contract system, casual, temporary, part-time, There will be demands regarding ban on the policy, etc. CITU State President Vijendra Mehra and General Secretary Prem Gautam have said that due to the neo-liberal and pro-capitalist policies of the Modi government at the Centre, the crisis of unemployment, poverty, inequality, and livelihood is increasing. Poverty and hunger are increasing due to unemployment and inflation. Rising inflation due to the weakening of the public distribution system has broken the back of the people. There is a huge increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas and food items. He *ensured a minimum wage of Rs 26,000 per month and pension to all workers; Demanded to regularize all these laborers by repealing four anti-labor labor codes and the Electricity Amendment Bill, banning contract, part-time, multi-purpose, multi-task, temporary, casual, fixed term, contractual system, and outsourced system.
