Chief of Army Staff calls on Himachal Governor

Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Pande, PVSM AVSM, VSM, ADC called on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhawan today. It was a courtesy call.

The Governor honoured him by presenting himachali cap and shawl along with a memento on the occasion.

The Governor was briefed by the Chief of Army Staff on various issues related to the Army. During this brief interaction, Shiv Pratap Shukla and General Manoj Pande also discussed security of the region and other important issues.

Lt. General S.S. Mahal, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) was also present on the occasion.
