CEO inaugurate training camp at Bachat Bhawan

State Chief Electoral Officer C. Palrasu today inaugurated a one day training workshop of Shimla Urban Assembly segment of Booth Level Officers in Bachat Bhawan here. 

 In his address, he emphasised the role of BLOs in strengthening democracy at the grassroots level and giving a stimulus to democratic values in society. 
He stressed the importance of training in the digital age and enhancing the practical skills of BLOs to propel the democratic  structure and increase the polling percentage. 
C. Palrasu also distributed kit to the present BLOs and congratulated them for their stellar role in conducting the poll process. 
 He also held an interactive session with the BLOs and listened to their genuine grievances. 
District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi welcomed the chief guest and apprised him of the gender ratio prevailing in the district constituencies. 

Among those present on the occasion included State Additional CEO Dalip Negi, SDM Urban Manjit Sharma, SDM Rural Babu Ram Sharma and other Election Department official.
