Central government reduces the price of domestic gas cylinder of 14.2 kg by Rs 200

BJP media in-charge Karan Nanda said that the central government has reduced the price of domestic gas cylinder (14.2 kg) by Rs 200. The cabinet has approved it on Tuesday. Nanda said that PM Modi and the central government have given a big gift to the sisters by reducing the prices on the festival of Onam and Raksha Bandhan. The new price of the cylinder will be applicable from tomorrow i.e. 30 August. Nanda also said that the government will distribute 75 lakh new Ujjwala connections. The beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme get a subsidy of Rs 200. The beneficiaries of Ujjwala will now get the cylinder for around Rs.700. So far, more than 9.5 crore connections have been given in the country under the Ujjwala scheme. The scheme was launched on 1 May 2016 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The government had spent a total of Rs 6,100 crore in the financial year 2022-23 on the subsidy of this scheme. The subsidy received under the scheme is deposited directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

He said that on one hand the Congress government is working to increase inflation in the state and on the other hand the central government is giving Rakshabandhan gifts to all the sisters. The Congress government of the state and the center should learn something from the Modi government.
