Celebrating Knowledge and Nature: Students Lead National Symposium on Himalayan Bioresources
In a heartfelt tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s legacy, the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, is hosting a National Symposium on Sustainable Development and Conservation of Himalayan Bioresources on September 2–3, 2025.
What makes this event truly special is that it’s driven by students, reflecting their passion for science, sustainability, and collaborative learning. The symposium aims to spark innovation and dialogue across disciplines, creating a vibrant space where ideas can grow and solutions can emerge.
Over two days, attendees will engage in expert talks, interactive presentations, panel discussions, and exhibitions, with more than 100 participants from across India expected to join. By bringing together voices from diverse fields, the event hopes to inspire young minds to contribute to building a Viksit Bharat—a developed and inclusive India.
