Camps organized in Junga and Bhadrech under the Developed Agriculture Resolution Campaign

Camps were organized in Junga and Bhadech on Monday under the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan. In these camps, CPI scientists informed the farmers about the latest techniques of agriculture and solved their problems on the spot. Agriculture SMS Dr. Sunil Thakur said that under the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan started by the Government of India, agriculture and horticulture experts will go to the field and directly communicate with 1.5 crore farmers in seven hundred districts of the country. For which 2170 teams have been formed. Similar camps will be organized in various villages of Mashobra block.
He said that in these camps, CPRI scientists Dr. Kailash, Dr. Vikas Mangal, Dr. Tanuja and horticulture expert Dr. Sharad Gupta provided information on agriculture and horticulture to the farmers.
Dr. Sunil said that in these camps, CPRI scientists gave detailed information to the farmers about potato production. They informed the farmers about the suitable variety and maintenance for potato production in Junga area. While horticulture expert Dr. Sharad Gupta gave information to the farmers about drip irrigation scheme, setting up poly houses, besides kiwi and apple production. He said that as per the demand, fruit plants will be made available to the farmers on subsidy by the department.
In the camp, Dr. Sunil Thakur informed the farmers about 70 percent subsidy under the Chief Minister’s Farm Protection Scheme and the weather-based insurance scheme. He said that peas, tomatoes and capsicum have been brought under the insurance scheme by the government. Apart from this, he gave information about the state agricultural mechanization under which tractors, grass cutting machines and other agricultural equipment are provided.
Krishi Sakhi Yogmaya Sharma from Gram Panchayat Junga thanked the government for organizing the camp and urged to organize such camps in future as well. Apart from Krishi Sakhi Reena Thapa, LRP Preeti and Suman, farmers from Junga and Bhadech participated in the camp.
