Yadvindra Goma assumes charge at the Secretariat
Newly inducted Cabinet Minister Yadavindra Goma took charge of the office in the new Armsdale building, room number 625, at the Secretariat today. A puja ceremony was held as he assumed his duty as a minister. He thanked Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the new responsibility and expressed gratitude towards the top leadership of the Congress Party.
He said that the Chief Minister has assigned him a huge responsibility and he will diligently work for the interest of the state. Stressing that the state leadership was working with the motto of Vyavastha Parivartan, he assured to achieve the same by giving his best for the public welfare. The cabinet minister further stated that whatever department is allotted to him by the Chief Minister, he will work responsibly to live up to the expectations of the government and the people of the state.
He said that the government was determined to fulfill all the guarantees in a phased manner. He added that the state government has launched many projects and schemes for the development of district Kangra and said that he will ensure these projects are completed in time.
Municipal Corporation Shimla Mayor Surendra Chauhan, Congress leaders and party workers from district Kangra and across the state, and employees of secretariat congratulated him on the occasion.
