Cab driver hails from UP dies of CO poisoning near Mashobra

A 42 yrs old cab driver hailed from Bijnor of Uttar Pradesh died of CO poisoning when he was sleeping in the cab along with lit wood in the canister to brave cold wave, police officer confirmed.
Superintendent of Police Ms Monika Bhatnaguru said that Suvendra Chaudhary, son of Mr. Laxman Singh Chaudhary, of Putha village of district Bijno of Uttar Pradesh, found ead in the car this morning at Mashobra.
She said that driver had brought passengers from Dehradun in vehicle number (uk07 TV 1342 Hyundai)was sleeping in vehicle after checking in the passengers in Mahindra Club resort in Mashobra.
The mishap allegedly happened due to  poisoning of Carbon Monoxide as the victim kept a Canister along with lit wood in the vehicle.  Police took the body of deceased in its possession and sent for postmortem.
