BJP MP Shri Suresh Kashyap described the Union Budget 2026-27 as a historic step towards inclusive development and a self-reliant India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that the record capital expenditure of ₹12.2 lakh crore will provide new impetus to infrastructure, employment, and Tier-2/3 cities.
He said that for hilly states like Himachal, the eco-friendly mountain corridor and announcements to promote tourism are a special gift for the state.
