Brush your teeth twice a day and avoid junk food : Dr Rajesh

A workshop was organized at the Government Model Senior Secondary School, Junga, to commemorate World Oral Health Day. On this occasion, Dr. Rajesh Thakur, a dentist at the Civil Hospital, informed the children about dental care and the ill effects of junk food. He explained that while teeth enhance facial beauty, healthy teeth also improve the digestive process, while missing teeth adversely affect the digestive process.
Dr. Rajesh said that to prevent bad breath, cavities and gum diseases, everyone should brush their teeth twice a day to keep the teeth healthy. He also gave detailed information to the children about the technique of brushing teeth and advised them to get their teeth checked from time to time. He said that after eating sweets, one should immediately brush their teeth so that the sweets do not spoil the teeth. He also advised the children not to consume junk or fast food. He said that junk or fast food is harmful for the human body.
On this occasion, school children gave information about various dental diseases and their maintenance through posters on World Oral Health Day.
Apart from Civil Hospital Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Verma, Principal Mahesh Sharma, Dental Technician Rajesh Sharma, NDK Counselor Praveen Sharma, school staff were also present in the program.
