BJP’s strong reaction to Chief Minister Sukhu’s allegations, demands an apology: Karan Nanda

BJP’s state media in-charge Karan Nanda issued an important statement today. He said that a delegation of BJP Himachal Pradesh led by former minister RD Kashyap met the Election Commission in Shimla today. The delegation also included former retired IAS JC Sharma and former Mayor Kusum Sadrate. The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Election Commission, in which the allegations made by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu during the campaign have been strongly condemned. The Chief Minister of the state had claimed that Rs 55 lakh has been seized, which is baseless, wrong and beyond facts.

In his statement, Karan Nanda said that Chief Minister Sukhu is trying to spoil the political atmosphere because he is feeling his defeat in the elections. BJP believes that this statement of the Chief Minister is only to divert the attention of the public. BJP has demanded from the Election Commission that if the allegation of material worth Rs 55 lakh is true, then the Chief Minister should tell from which hotel that amount was received and in which government account it was deposited.

He alleged that the Congress party is doing politics of lies and is only trying to garner votes. The BJP has warned that if these allegations are not proven, the BJP will take an aggressive stance and issue a legal notice.

BJP has demanded a public apology from the Chief Minister and said that if the allegations are not proven then the Chief Minister will have to face the consequences.
