BJP tries unsuccessfully to play with people’s emotions by raising slogans of regionalism: Vikramaditya
Congress candidate from Mandi parliamentary constituency, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh has said that former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur does politics of regionalism. They try unsuccessfully to play with people’s emotions by raising slogans of regionalism. He has said that the people of Mandi parliamentary constituency had given a befitting reply to it in the by-elections also, and the same will happen this time too.
Today, while addressing his election meetings in Janjehli and Balichowki of Seraj assembly constituency, Vikramaditya Singh said that the foundation of development laid by former Chief Minister Late Virbhadra Singh in Seraj area has come to fruition. He said that Virbhadra Singh never did any regional politics nor discriminated against any region. He said that whatever Jairam Thakur asked for this area, Virbhadra Singh gave it wholeheartedly.
Vikramaditya Singh said that this time BJP has made an actress its candidate from Mandi parliamentary constituency who neither has any understanding nor any knowledge of the area. Till today she has not been able to even tell her vision. She is entertaining people only by praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and talking about this and that. He said that being a woman, she uses such abusive language which is very unfortunate. She said that after losing the elections on June 4, she will return to her hometown Mumbai. He said that today she is asking for votes from people by calling herself Mandi’s daughter. At the time of the disaster, this waitress did not even take care of anyone in this area.
Vikramaditya Singh said that the Congress government of the state has created more than 22 thousand posts in the government sector during its 15 months tenure. He said that BJP tries to mislead the people of the state.
Vikramaditya Singh said that now four days are left for the elections. He urged BJP to avoid any temptation and vote for them for the development of the area, saying that they have to decide what kind of MP they want from here. He said that the Congress government has fulfilled the guarantee of restoring old pension to the employees and giving honorarium of Rs 1500 every month to women. He said that BJP is neither employee friendly nor women friendly. He said that Jairam Thakur had approached the Election Commission to stop this scheme of Rs 1500 given to women. He said that the state government has kept a budget of Rs 800 crore for this scheme and all the eligible women of the state will start receiving this amount from June 6. Whatever Congress says, it is fulfilled in every situation.
Vikramaditya Singh said that after becoming MP, he will start a new saga of development of Mandi parliamentary constituency. Urging the people to make him victorious with huge votes, he said that he will go to the Center and write a new chapter of development by rising above any party politics.
