BJP MLAs accused the government of removing important questions from the assembly

BJP MLAs Sudhir Sharma, Ashish Sharma and senior spokesperson Trilok Jamwal have leveled serious allegations against the state government and said that important questions were deliberately removed before the assembly session, so that the government could avoid pricking questions. Hitler Raj is going on in the present government, this government is doing whatever comes to its mind, the government has no fear of any kind, whether it is of the public or the opposition.

BJP leaders said these questions were already available on the official website of the Assembly, but were “mysteriously” or systematically removed just before the session began.

“Vote for cash” allegation

BJP leaders also alleged that the state government transferred lakhs of rupees to Mahila Mandals despite the Model Code of Conduct being in force, which is a kind of “cash for vote” scheme. They claimed that information on this matter has come to light through RTI, but the government is avoiding giving any answer on it.

Questions on excise policy and revenue

The MLAs also questioned the government’s intentions regarding the new excise policy. They said that the Chief Minister had claimed that the state’s revenue would increase by 45%, but the actual figures show that the revenue has declined to only 4%. They alleged that the government is hiding these figures and is shying away from answering with transparency in the assembly. The BJP had sought a defaulter list of liquor contractors from the government, which also had a large number of red entries.
