BJP MLA & six other injured in road mishap at Banjar in Himachal

Seven people including a BJP member of assembly and six women and children injured in the road mishap occurred at Bahu under Subdivision Banjar when a vehicle fell 50 feet down the road, state administration officer confirmed.
In a press release issued by the State Disaster Management Authority incharge Sudhesh Mokta said that among those injured in the mishap include Banjar MLA Mr Surendra Shoourie.  
The victims were travelling in a SUV when it lost control over the wheel and fell 50 feet deep gorge at 1100 hrs on Saturday. 
District Administration Kulu immediately deployed a police rescue team on the incident spot. They rescued seven injured who were taken to Banjar Hospital for treatment. No loss of life is so far reported in the mishap. Smt Mannat, Smt Somiya, Smt Palak, Smt Sanjo Devi, Smt Rita Thakur and smt Leela Devi.
