BJP media in-charge Karan Nanda met Union Health Minister and National President Jagat Prakash Nadda at his residence in Delhi. Nanda also congratulated Nadda on becoming the Health Minister and PM Narendra Modi on becoming the PM for the third time at the Centre.

On this occasion, Karan Nanda said that the law and order situation in the state is in shambles and the government of Himachal’s friends is enjoying corruption, mafia rule and goonda rule. The situation in 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh is deteriorating and wherever you look, many examples of the breakdown of law and order are coming in front of the public.

He said the body of an American citizen, missing for three days, was recovered on Sunday from a ravine between Key and Tashigang in Lahaul-Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh.

He said that under the Congress government, water has disappeared from the taps, a huge water crisis has arisen in the state but the Congress government is happy while the public is distressed.

He said that due to lack of rain and extreme heat, the water crisis in Himachal Pradesh has worsened. Water has reached the minimum level in about 1000 drinking water schemes of the state. But the government is not showing any action mode, the government is in switch off mode.

He said that there is an outcry for water in Shimla and Solan districts. In Bilaspur district too, the situation is getting worse day by day.

The Jal Shakti Department has also started making alternative arrangements, but they are not able to achieve anything. In the midst of the scorching heat, consumers in many areas are getting water on the fourth to seventh day. In many areas, water has not been coming for the last 20 days.

Jal Shakti Department has a total of 10,067 drinking water projects in the state. Out of these, the water level in 1000 schemes has decreased by 80 percent. The water level in these schemes has decreased so much that the tanks of Jal Shakti Department are not able to fill. Apart from the capital Shimla and Theog under Shimla district, Kasauli, Dharampur of Solan district are facing the most water crisis. 84 drinking water schemes have dried up in Theog, supply from only 7 tankers. There are a total of 313 drinking water schemes in sub-division Theog under Shimla district, out of which 84 have dried up. In some areas, people are getting water from tankers only once a week. Jal Shakti Department has deployed only 7 tankers to provide drinking water to thousands of people struggling with water crisis. The water crisis in the capital has deepened due to the decrease in water level in Giri and Gumma projects supplying water to Shimla.
