BJP Legislature Party handed over lakhs of signatures against Congress to the Governor

BJP Legislature Party headed by State President Suresh Kashyap and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur handed over lakhs of signatures against the Congress government to Himachal Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla.

The way Congress has closed more than 900 government institutions, there is a lot of anger among the public, which is visible through these lakhs of signatures.

The Legislature Party handed over the signatures of all the Mandals to the Governor and also gave a memorandum.

In the memorandum given by Jairam Thakur and the Legislature Party, it was said that Himachal Pradesh is a symbol of clean politics, good governance and a healthy democratic system. The history of Himachal has been that whenever there is a change of power in the state, the new government works in the interest of the state and public by taking forward the works of the previous government, but it is very unfortunate that the cabinet approval in the public interest by the present Congress government during the time of the former BJP government Government institutions of various departments which were opened after and with budgetary provision, have been closed without cabinet approval in a spirit of political vendetta, which is a reflection of the narrow and corrupt mindset of the Congress party. Due to this dictatorial working style of the present government, the people of the state are facing huge inconveniences.

Excellency Sir, Himachal Pradesh is a hilly state and keeping in mind the difficult geographical conditions and the huge demand and facilities of the public, the former BJP government had opened these government institutions and the work in these institutions started smoothly and public facilities were provided. Meetings had started, but it is a matter of regret that soon after getting the power, the Congress government misused it and snatched away the facilities being provided to the people. It has been almost three months since the Congress came to power and during this tenure, not a single decision has been taken by the government in the public interest, which raises a question mark on the functioning of this government.

Excellency Sir, the work of the government is to advance the pace of development keeping in mind the wishes of the people, but the present Congress government is doing the opposite. The Congress government has acted against the public opinion by closing more than 900 government institutions in Himachal Pradesh so far, which not only resulted in wastage of government money but also caused huge problems to the government employees and officers. Not only this, this process of the state government did not stop here and now this government has

The work of denotifying the institutions has started. Excellency Sir, at present classes are going on in all colleges and schools and it is not in the public interest to order closure of colleges and schools as it will adversely affect the education of the students. Such decisions are not only anti-people but also reflect the dictatorial attitude of the Congress party which cannot be tolerated at all.

Excellency Sir, the previous Bharatiya Janata Party government bore the brunt of Covid-19 and did a historic work of providing medical and living facilities to the people of Himachal Pradesh during the Corona pandemic. It was not even possible to imagine the opening of new offices in this difficult period of the pandemic, but keeping in mind the demands of the people of the state and the elected public representatives, the former BJP government had opened these government institutions/educational institutions with budgetary provisions, but The state government is trying to violate the democratic systems and public sentiments in Himachal Pradesh only out of political malice, which is completely unfair. And

Excellency Sir, the Congress government should have taken forward the works of the previous BJP government and worked for the development of the state, but it is very unfortunate that since coming to power, the Congress government has been working against the public interest to fulfill its political wishes. is doing which the Bharatiya Janata Party strongly criticizes.

Excellency Sir, Bhartiya Janta Party Himachal Pradesh launched a signature campaign against these Tughlaqi decrees of the government through mass movement in which the local public voluntarily participated and expressed their protest by signing against these anti-people decisions of the government. Bharatiya Janata Party, Himachal Pradesh humbly requests you keeping these documents and public sentiments in mind. That orders should be given to immediately withdraw all these decisions taken by the state government in the spirit of political malice in the public interest so that the uninterrupted stream of development continues to flow in the state and a healthy democracy can be established.
