BJP has imposed the burden of by-elections on the state: Chandrashekhar

MLA and Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee Working President Chandrashekhar has said that Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur and the Bharatiya Janata Party are responsible for putting the burden of by-elections on Himachal Pradesh. He said that the BJP, using its money power, used its influence to bribe 6 Congress MLAs and also incited three independent MLAs to resign. All three independent MLAs, under the influence of money power, submitted their resignations to the Assembly Speaker and joined the BJP, completing the deal with the BJP. He said that for the first time after independence, independent MLAs have resigned from their posts even though they could have supported any party. They should tell the public what the reasons behind their resignations were.
Chandrashekhar said that Jai Ram Thakur is conspiring to topple an elected government by adopting unethical means to grab the chair of Chief Minister. He said that the BJP leaders have put the burden of by-elections on the people of the state due to their personal interests. He said that the people of the state have rejected the politics of horse-trading in Himachal Pradesh and recently the voters of the state have given a reply to this by sending the turncoat MLAs home. He said that the people of Himachal Pradesh did not like the politics of horse-trading and now BJP will have to face defeat in the by-elections being held on three seats. After seeing this defeat, the BJP ticket to the three independent MLAs who resigned is also being reconsidered.
The acting president said that the BJP should apologize to the people of the state for conspiring to topple the government and repent for its sins.
