BJP government is giving a step-motherly treatment to Himachal: Kuldeep Rathore

All India Congress Committee spokesperson Theog MLA Kuldeep Singh Rathore has accused the BJP-led NDA government of giving step-motherly treatment to Himachal Pradesh and said that the central government is completely ignoring the interests of Himachal. He said that even all the BJP MPs of the state are not able to protect the interests of the state, which is very sad.

Kuldeep Singh Rathore has expressed surprise at the Central Government completely ignoring Himachal Pradesh in the list of 23 states to be given special assistance of Rs. 3296 crore for the development of tourism sector. He said that Himachal Pradesh is famous as a tourist state, despite this, it is very unfortunate that the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre is not giving any incentive to this state for tourism development. He alleged that the Central Government is discriminating against Himachal Pradesh.

Rathore said that even during the natural calamity two years ago, the central government did not provide any financial help to Himachal and now tourism development is also being completely ignored. He said that Himachal is the first choice of people from the country and abroad and every year lakhs of tourists come here to visit. In such a situation, the central government should provide special help for tourism development in the state.

Rathore has requested the Union Health Minister and BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda that he should help the state by raising this issue with the Central Government in the interest of the state. He has said that all the BJP MPs of the state should also put pressure on the Central Government in this regard, because the people of the state have elected them to advocate the interests of the state at the Centre and to complete the works in the interest of the state, not to play with the interests of the state.
