BJP change tickets of Indira Kapoor , Replace her by Neelam Nayyar
The Central Election Committee today changed ticket of Indira Kapoor from Chamba Assembly Constituency replacing her by Mrs Neelam Nayyar . In a Press release issued here today party said that Smt. Indira Kapoor was declared candidate from Chamb, Approval has been given to make Neelam Nayyar the candidate of the party. Arun Singh National General Secretary confirmed in a press release. Indira Kapoor was also convicted in a Corruption case and sentenced for three years simple imprisonment and fine of Rs 10000 by Special Judge Chamba. She got major relief to today as Himachal Pradesh High court stayed her conviction. Neelam Nayyar is wife of incumbent BJP MLA Pawan Nayyar who was denied tickets along with 11 sitting MLAs.
