BJP cancel party meeting to review defeat in bye election

BJP high command have to cancel todays schedule meeting convened at Chandigarh to review the party bye election defeat as the senior party leader from the state and high command showed inability to attend the meeting..
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur told media persons here today that high command had convened a meeting at Chandigarh as party National Vice President Suddan Singh showed inability to attend the meeting. It has been cancelled.
Chief Minister said that it was not party core group meeting but meeting convened by the party high command and it would be rescheduled when senior party leaders at Delhi would give their time. 
It is the second time when ruling party is skipped the party review meeting of  bye election debacle as recently party National Executive meeting which discussed the party election strategy in five state election also skipped the issue.
The party sources said that former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and Shantas Kumar were also invited in the meeting and also showed inability to not attend the meeting along with party vice president forcing the party to cancel the meeting which was scheduled in a hotel in Chandigarh at 1100 hrs on Monday.
Before the party goes for review meeting on defeat three party leaders including IPH Minister Mr Mahinder Singh Thakur, Tribal Development Minister Ramlal Markanda and party state president Suresh Kashyap have been called by the party high command to Delhi before this review meeting.
The party could not afford to delay the party debacle more as Shimla MC election is schedule to be held in early next year and Assembly election in the end of the next year, party sources said .
