BJP announces ticket to all disqualified Congress MLAs in Himachal

BJP national election committee announced to allot tickets to all the six Congress-disqualified MLAs in Himachal Pradesh for assembly by-election.

Releasing the list of six candidates for the bye-election BJP president Rajiv Bindal said that the party decided to allot tickets to Sudhir Sharma from Dharmshala, Ravi Thakur from Lahaul Spiti, Rajinder Rana from Sujanpur, Inderdut Lakhanpal from Badsar, Chaitanya Sharma from Gagret and Devinder Bhuto from Kutlehar.  Six disqualified MLAs joined the BJP on Saturday and are keeping their distance from the Congress party after they crossed over in the Rajyasabha election on February 27

A party may face rebellion from the six BJP candidate who lost their election on the party ticket in 2022 but BJP now ignoring them. A couple of party leaders already announced to fight the election as an Independent candidate and joining the BJP candidates who were also apparent for the ticket may be switched over to Congress.

Congress party has neither declared any candidate for Lok Sabha nor bye-election sofar.
