Bindal thanked JP Nadda for giving Rs 123 crore to various hospitals of Himachal

Dr. Rajiv Bindal, State President Bharatiya Janata Party has expressed gratitude to National President BJP and Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Fertilizers and Chemicals Jagat Prakash Nadda for the many gifts given to Himachal during his visit to Himachal.

Dr. Bindal also thanked the Modi government for providing ₹843 crore to the state government before Diwali. He also thanked the Prime Minister for visiting Himachal last month and providing relief to the people of Himachal Pradesh by providing ₹1,500 crore for disaster relief. He thanked Jagat Prakash Nadda, saying that the contribution he has made to the medical field of Himachal Pradesh is a huge relief for the people of the state. The establishment of a medical institution like the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Himachal and the provision of super-specialty medical facilities to the public in such a short period of time is tantamount to making the impossible possible. By spending approximately ₹2,500 crore and taking care of this institution daily, it has now reached national standards. New super-specializations are being introduced every day.

Dr. Bindal thanked Jagat Prakash Nadda for providing ₹123 crore for various hospitals and maternal and child care facilities in the state. He questioned the state government’s performance, saying that Himachal patients are not receiving the full benefits of Ayushman Bharat, an excellent scheme for the poor. The state government’s discontinuation of the Himcare scheme is a condemnable blow to the poor.

Dr. Bindal stated that the Modi government has previously provided substantial funds to the state government for maternal and child hospitals, cancer hospitals, and the construction of medical colleges and hospitals, but the state government is not utilizing them properly in the public interest. Approvals for ₹261 crore (261 crore rupees) for the construction of the Nahan Medical College, ₹21 crore (21 crore rupees) for the construction of the Mother and Child Hospital, and ₹75 crore (75 crore rupees) for the construction of the Nursing College have been previously granted, but all work has been stopped. This is an injustice to the state’s poor patients, and the Bharatiya Janata Party strongly condemns it.
