Bindal: Interim budget good for youth, women and farmers

This budget will work for the upliftment of women in which 80 lakh sisters of self-help groups will be supported to expand their business and a target has been set to create 3 crore lakhpati didis. The scope of Ayushman Bharat, a very important scheme that takes care of the health of the poor, will be expanded and many categories of people like Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi assistants and Asha workers will be benefited under this scheme. A target has been set to give 40 crore Mudra Yojana loans in which 75 percent sisters will get the benefit. Under Swanidhi Yojana, 78 lakh street vendors will be benefited and out of these, 28 lakh people are those who have availed the benefit of this scheme thrice.

The BJP President said that a corpus of Rs 1 lakh crore has been kept for employment generation and research work for the youth, which will act as the backbone for employment generation. In the budget of 2024-25, double the provision has been made for infrastructure development than last year. It should be noted that last year, Rs 38 lakh crore was sent to various beneficiaries through Digital India (DBT), which resulted in a saving of Rs 2 lakh 8 thousand crore, that is, a huge amount of money which was used for corruption in the previous governments, was transferred through DBT. Dr. Bindal said that in this budget, development of the poor, development of youth, development of women and development of farmers have been ensured and with the participation of these four sections, India will become a superpower of the world.
