Barring one or two reported incidents polling completely went peacefully in Arki assembly segment in Solan

The polling which started at a low pace in the morning, picked up gradually as the day advanced. Long queues of some voters were seen outside  some polling stations, especially in the afternoon.
 According to reports reaching here, around 7 percent polling was registered at 9am,while it was registered at 23 % at 11 am. The polling was recorded at 54 percent at 3 pm while it was registered at 61 % at 5.30 pm. The polling was registered at 68 percent at 6pm. However, long queues were still seen outside some polling stations across the constituency.
 The polling  went on brisk note in the afternoon when female voters turned out in large numbers after completing their household chores. Hordes of women along with their kids were seen queued up outside their respective polling stations at several places.
 “Polling process did not witness any violence, disturbance including reports of faults in any voting machine across the district,” said Deputy Commissioner Kritika Kulhari.
 She said that all necessary arrangements have already been made for counting of votes that would be carried out on November 2
