State Congress Committee Secretary Baldev Thakur has expressed a strong reaction to the statements being made by BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal against the State Government every day, alleging that Rajiv Bindal is criticizing the State Government and the Chief Minister. They just want to grab headlines in the media by making statements against the state and keep opposing the decisions being taken by the Chief Minister of the state in the public interest every day whereas the reality is that as much development work as they want for the common people, they are taking the historic decisions taken by the government to the orphan children. The work of implementing the Old Pension Scheme, increasing the relief amount to the people affected by the disaster manifold, providing subsidized facilities like e-taxi to the young unemployed creating thousands of new posts in various government departments, and filling the vacant posts in various departments. Sukhu has rarely happened in a government at such a rapid pace to date.
Baldev Thakur also expressed his objection about the wrong figures given by Bindal regarding the loan taken by the state government and that the reality of the loan is contrary to the figures given by Bindal. Even if the state government has taken a loan, the main reason for it is due to many wrong decisions taken by the previous BJP government and the debt left by the then Jairam government on the state government to pay the interest on the loan taken earlier.
Regarding the guarantees given by Congress before the elections, Baldev Thakur said that the state government has started fulfilling the guarantees in a phased manner, which includes implementing the Old Pension Scheme, which the previous Jairam government had completely refused to implement. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu The government was the first to implement the Guarantee Old Pension Scheme and took many historic decisions to provide employment to the unemployed, which is being praised all around, whereas in the previous BJP government, the youth were being cheated in the name of employment and the Staff Selection Commission was under the influence of the previous government. He set up a shop to sell jobs to ineligible people. The State Secretary said that Bindal should come into the media and say about the debt of the state government that he has received information through RTI that the present state government has taken a loan of Rs 10,300 crore and another Rs 800 crore loan is pending. If she is going to take it, then she should also apply RTI to the Central Government to determine how much total assistance has been given by the present BJP Government at the Center to the State Government within one year also she should get information about the total amount within the limit of the State Government.
