Avoid unnecessarily traveling especially in the wee-hrs : Lahaul Spiti Admn

The Lahaul Spiti district Administration issued yellow alert in wake of plummeting the temperature and freezing of water in the tribal district advising to avoid unnecessarily travelling in the district
 Deputy Commissioner Lahau Spiiti Neeraj Kumar said that weather advisory and snowfall alert was issued by the police today He said that keeping the yellow alert of weather forecast  snowfall is expected in the valley from Dec 2 to Dec 6 in the district.
” As  mercury is plummeting and water is already started freezing in the district people should avoid travelling in early morning and late evenings as Travelling could be risky and fatal so all advised to avoid unnecessarily traveling in the district ” DC said
He said that drivers of vehicle are also advised to adhere to all safe winter driving habits on Manali-Keylong National Highway No -3.
