Auckland House School for Girls – Junior Section’s Annual Sports Day Celebration
Auckland House School for Girls (Junior Section) celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great zeal and enthusiasm on Friday. On this occasion, Mrs. Deepika Chauhan, Principal, St. Mary’s School, Chakkar, Shimla, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The event began with the welcome of the chief guest, after which the girl students mesmerized the audience with their energetic aerobics and gymnastics performance. Several competitions were held on the day including flag race, pinwheel race, pom-pom race, caterpillar race, basketball match, skating, and musical chair.
Apart from this, creative activities like Pack Your Bag, Dressing Up, Lemon and Spoon Race, Magic Touch, Carry the Baton, Nukki Race, Fetch and Run made the sports day more interesting.
Students from Nursery to Form III participated enthusiastically and displayed their confidence, discipline and sportsmanship.
Chief guest Mrs. Chauhan appreciated the enthusiasm of the children and the efforts of the school for their all-round development. She inspired the students to always try wholeheartedly and move ahead in life with a sportsman spirit.
The Principal of the school expressed her gratitude to the chief guest and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students and the programme was concluded with prize distribution and vote of thanks.
