Ahead of PM visit HRTC Employees threatens state wide strike 

Around 4500 drivers of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation threatened to go on state wide Kam chhordo (leave staring) from May 30 after failing talk with HRTC management and nine drivers unions here today. Office Bearers to HRTC staff joint action committee confirmed to us that talk between HRTC Managing Director Sanders Kumar and State Driver Unions President Mann Singh ended without any solution as HRTC management rejected two main demand of announcement of new pay scale to HRTC Employees and release of 35 months pending over time to HRTC drivers and conductor. MD promised to consider the demands of new pay revision up to July this year and also set up the Committee to study and calculate the pending demand of over time. Union boycott the talk on the confrontation between them on both the demand. Now HRTC union would leave staring of all services on May 30 a day head Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit. HRTC plays an important role to ferry Political workers from all over state to Shimla in rally may scuttle PM rally as BJP is in power in the state. AAP party spokesperson told us that its recent rally also could not draw more crowd as HRTC management was forced to not booking of Political outfits affected the strength of rally.
