Agniveer Recruitment Rally 2024-25: Shimla’s Rampur to Host Event from September 3 to 9

In a significant development for the youth of Himachal Pradesh, the Agniveer Recruitment Rally for 2024-25 is set to take place in Rampur, Shimla. The rally, scheduled from September 3 to September 9, will offer a golden opportunity for aspiring candidates from Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, and Kinnaur districts who have successfully cleared the written examination for Agniveer recruitment in the Indian Army.

Colonel Pushvinder Kaur, Director of the Army Recruitment Office Shimla, shared that this rally will be a critical phase for candidates, as they will undergo physical, ground, and medical tests at the Prithi Military Station in Averipatti, Rampur. She also mentioned that if the weather doesn’t cooperate, the event might be extended.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the rally, local authorities are fully backing the initiative. Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) Nishant Tomar from Rampur and Manmohan Singh from Nirmand have assured full administrative support. They have coordinated with various departments including Public Works, Jal Shakti, Electricity, Fire Services, and the Municipal Council to ensure everything runs like clockwork. Ambulances, doctors, and nurses will be present on-site, and a reliable electricity supply will be maintained. The Municipal Council of Rampur will oversee all sanitation arrangements to keep the rally site clean and organized.

Security is also a top priority. DSP Rampur Naresh Sharma has confirmed that adequate police forces will be deployed to maintain law and order, as well as manage traffic. The goal is to ensure that the rally proceeds peacefully and concludes without any hitches.
