Aashadeep Organizes Blood Donation Camp at Bahra University

Aashadeep organization organized a blood donation camp today at Bahra University, in collaboration with the School of Pharmaceutical Studies. A medical team, led by Dr. Saivi, arrived from IGMC Shimla for the camp. The event was coordinated by Aashadeep members Rakesh Kumar, Radha Khanna, and Sushila Chauhan, with Assistant Principal Abhinit Chauhan acting as the camp facilitator. The camp was inaugurated by the Dean of Studies.

Professors Disha, Vibha Sharma, Parishita, Bharat, and Pushpinder set an example by also donating blood. The camp saw the highest number of first-time donors, including female donors like Yojana, Vaishali, Manisha Thakur, Anjali, Nyasa, Esha, and Kamya. Students from Nepal, Vishal and Abhishek, along with Durjoy Datta from Bangladesh, also participated in the blood donation.

Assistant Principal Abhinit Chauhan thanked the blood bank team and Aashadeep for organizing the camp and expressed hope that other initiatives would be held with Aashadeep’s collaboration in the future. Radha Khanna, the camp coordinator from Aashadeep, expressed gratitude to everyone and emphasized that blood donation is considered one of the greatest acts of charity. One unit of blood can help save the lives of three patients in need. A total of 73 people donated blood.
