Aadhar cards could not be made in Peeran due to power failure for 20 hours, Local youth restored electricity

Due to the fuse of the transformer blowing, there was no electricity in Peeran for the last 20 hours, due to which about a hundred people who had come to the camp to make Aadhar cards had to return disappointed. The most important thing is that after 20 hours, the electricity was restored not by the employees of the Electricity Board but by the local people, risking their lives, by putting a fuse. Let us tell you that the employees of the Electricity Board stay in Koti, which is about 34 kilometers away from this area. In case of minor faults in the electricity lines, the employee has to come from Koti, for which the Board has not provided any vehicle facility.
Peeran Panchayat Pradhan Kiran Sharma said that on the demand of the people, the Postal Department had organized a camp for making Aadhar Cards in Peeran, in which more than one hundred people of the entire Panchayat reached the camp along with their small children, but people’s Aadhar Cards could not be made due to power failure after about 2 o’clock in the day. He said that he had requested the electricity board officials to deploy an employee in the camp, but the electricity board did not deploy any employee.
Kiran Sharma said that due to lack of maintenance of electricity lines, there is frequent power outage in Peeran Panchayat. Since the electricity department does not have any technical staff in this area, the local people put fuses in the transformer risking their lives, due to which an accident can happen anytime and it seems that the electricity department is waiting for this day.
The Pradhan has appealed to the government to deploy an employee permanently in Peeran Panchayat, otherwise if any accident happens to a local youth while installing fuse in the transformer, the Electricity Board will be responsible for it.
SDO Electricity Sub Division Junga Yashwant Singh said that talks will be held with higher authorities regarding permanent deployment of an employee in Peeran.
