Hotel Pineview Shimla & The Chalets Naldehra Are Set To Host Camp Chor Bizarre For The Summer
This summer, the Himalayan towns of Shimla and Naldehra will play host
to an exceptional culinary celebration as Hotel Pineview, Shimla and The Chalets Naldehra
welcome Camp Chor Bizarre, a 50-day culinary showcase created in collaboration with Chor
Bizarre, India’s pioneering themed restaurant. Running from May 17th onwards, the event will
offer an immersive exploration of traditional Kashmiri Wazwan cuisine and curated regional fare,
all set amidst the cool mountain air and stunning vistas of Himachal Pradesh.
Camp Chor Bizarre will unfold across the two properties, with thoughtfully divided programming at
each location. Guests can look forward to a rotating selection of signature dishes, themed dinners,
interactive cooking experiences, and live culinary showcases. Items from the iconic Chor
Bizarremenu will be featured, including Kashmiri Rogan Josh, NadruYakhni, Dilli-style Chaat, and a
variety of slow-cooked vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties.
Established in 1990 at Hotel Broadway, New Delhi, Chor Bizarre is India’s first themed restaurant
and a landmark in regional Indian dining. Famed for its vibrant “thieves’ market” ambience and its
pioneering role in introducing Kashmiri Wazwan and traditional Pandit delicacies beyond the
Valley, Chor Bizarre continues to enchant diners with its authentic flavours and vintage charm.
