A shop damage in fire mishap in Kufri

A major fire damaged a shop at Tourist resort Kufri , 15 km from Shimla in Himachal Pradesh last night, fire was brought under control, district disaster management authority officials said.
Chairman of DDMA Aditya Negi said that fire broke out at Kufri Market at 2130 hrs on Sunday when it was snowing out side and tourist resort was cut of from road communication and around one foot Snow was mounted on the road.
He said that two fire tender with 11 fire fighter were rushed to spot from Chhota- Shimla fire station and doused down the blazes in difficult Weather condition.
No loss of life was reported in the mishap and a shop was damaged causing estimated loss of Rs 50000, he said.
