A Nigerian national three others nabs uner NDPS Act
A Special Investigation Branch of District Kullu arrested a Nigerian national along with three Indian in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh after recovery of 62 grams of heroin, Police Chief Guedev Singh said in a press release issued here today. Two persons carrying contraband were arrested in an Alto car at at Bajoura on Mar 19. SIB team of police station Bhuntar interrogated the three and on their statement succeed to arrest a Nigerian nation from Delhi Dwarka on Tuesday. He said that SIB succeed to bust the entire racket from delivery man to supplier locating their hideout in the investigation. The Nigerian national arrested by the SIB was has been found to be living in Delhi for years without any passport. Three days police remand has been obtained as the accused was produced in the court today. After strictly interrogating the accused, the police is trying to reach the main kingpin supplying the NDPS to this racket. Accuseds are identified as Manoj Kumar alias Manu, Subtle Chandel, Sunny Kumar and Michael abichu. Kullu Police has also recovered 898 grams of Charsa from a person from Banjar. A case has been registered against the accused under ND&PS ACT at Police Station Banjar. The accused was produced before the Court and the police custody remand was obtained.
