A lady arrest after recovery of illicit Charas 

After recovery of heavy consignment of illicit Charas from the possession of a 46 yrs old woman under police station Rohru in Shimla district Police has arrested the accused.

Superintendent of police Shimla Ms Monika Bhutunguru said that district Crime Bureau recovered  1.644 kg ilicit Charas from a accused  identified as Sunita (wife of Joginder of Kayarku village of  Rohru ).

 She said that lady accused was living in Jatu Ram Building of  Ward No -7 of Rohru on Monday evening when DCRB conducted a search in the premise  on the tip of a credible information .
The FIR was registered under section 20 of NDPS Act at PS Rohru against the lady who was arrested immediately.
 Further investigation is underway in the case.

 SP also said that Shimla Police also recovered  5 litre banned cough syrup Corex from a passenger travelling in a bus during routine checking at Jhamradi Barrier (Nerwa) under Chopal Subdivision.
Case has been filled under sections 22, 61& 85 NDPS
