A delegation of BJP MPs, LoP, State President headed by JP Nadda met Amit Shah, Gadkari

A delegation of Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party met the ministers of the Central Government regarding the issue of the natural disaster that occurred in Himachal Pradesh a few days ago. The delegation included Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, State President BJP Dr. Rajiv Bindal, former Union Minister and MP Anurag Thakur, MP and former State President Suresh Kashyap, Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, Ms. Kangana Ranaut, Rajya Sabha MP Indu Goswami, Dr. Sikandar Kumar, Harsh Mahajan, MLA Vinod Kumar, Hansraj and Deepraj.

Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that first of all, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Fertilizers and Chemicals Jagat Prakash Nadda, who is also the National President of BJP, was apprised about the situation of the disaster. It is worth mentioning that on 9th July, Jagat Prakash Nadda himself came to Mandi district and saw the entire tragedy with his own eyes. This delegation under the leadership of Nadda ji met Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and discussed in detail about the disaster in the state. Nitin Gadkari promised to provide all kinds of help for the maintenance and reconstruction of national highways.

Thereafter, this delegation led by Nadda ji met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and held detailed talks regarding the Himachal tragedy. The Home Minister said that the NDA government led by Narendra Modi has provided ample financial help to Himachal Pradesh in the past and in future too, there will be no shortage of funds for relief work and assured that he will personally visit Himachal and take stock of the tragedy.
